Children
are innocent, sweet and precious. Children as the
old cliché goes children are what they learn.
Domestic violence creates devastating emotional and
psychological damage and leaves awful memories for
everyone around. Sometimes friends may not want to
get involved, victims
hide the truth hoping it will get better tomorrow or
later and live in fear thinking that no one will
believe them or help them. Even when the situation
gets bad some women don’t have the strength or
resources to get out. It is easier said than done.
I know
that even though on the surface I appeared to be
tough; emotionally I wasn’t. I would cry but it
did no good! I would tell friends what was
happening but it didn’t change what was happening
or make it go away. I was afraid to “ rock the
boat” in fear of what could happen., I am still
here now stronger than ever but only with your
support can we impact the innocent children and
assist others. My children’s eyes and ears have
witnessed too much! I cannot change the past, but
I will work towards a promising future.
Together
we can all help. We need to reach out, speak and no
longer silence a Childs Cry for Help!
