Re: Child Abuse and the Laws

Will FLORIDA LEGISLATORS .....hear HB 1169 CRIMINAL CONDUCT for "MENTAL INJURY" and protect our children in FLORIDA?

FLORIDA SUPREME COURT did not want to voice their opinion concerning recent conflict with our CHILD ABUSE statute, nor did the 4DCA when they overturned the child abuse conviction for  MUANO CASE (4D05-2460) .....4DCA stated "WE ACKNOWLEDGE THAT MUNAO'S STATEMENTS, encouraging his six year old son to get a knife and stab his mother, are deeply troublesome and offensive.......and invited the FLORIDA legislatures to CURE THIS PROBLEM!!!!

It is now in the hands of  CHAIRMAN of POLICY & BUDGET COUNCIL

    REP. RAY SANSOM ....... Ray.sansom@myfloridahouse.gov

Rep. Sansom can be reached at (850) 488-1450

WILL FLORIDA LEGISLATORS VOTE ON HB 435 CHILD CUSTODY?

HB 435  which effects military parents fighting for our country & loosing custody when they are out of state or country............HB 435 should have been voted on the HOUSE FLOOR LAST WEEK........................

HB 435 is in the hands of HOUSE SPEAKER MARCO RUBIO

REP RUBIO .........may be reached  Marco.rubio@myfloridahouse.gov or  his office (850) 488-1450

CHILDRENS ISSUES ARE A PRIORITY OF OUR FLORIDA LEGISLATORS according the FL SUPREME COURT but are these issues really a concern or is it a POWER TRIP?

TODAY SHOW  .........Baldwin & Matt Lauer Interview

IS BASINGER TO BLAME FOR ALEC'S ANGRY CALL?

Actress faces citations for interfering with child's relationship with Baldwin

Comments from Baldwin's interview....."I've said things to my own daughter I regret," he told Lauer.  "If every dad in America lost his relationship with his child because he lost his temper, every dad in America would have no contact with his child.  Releasing that information and putting the child in the middle of the conflict is outrageous, because we have to focus on the rights of that child."

    ALEC BALWIN GIVES HIS "VIEW"

Baldwin gave his heartfelt & somber tale of parental alienation that drove him to the boiling point on "THE VIEW" ...April 27th.   Last night, "On the Record" interviewed Jim Moret from INSIDE EDITION who expressed that Rosie and Baldwin are friends she encouraged him to come on THE VIEW on camera instead of a phone interview. Moret also mentioned what a way to target women since they are the primary ones who watch "The VIEW" ......

GRETA from ON THE RECORD stated "very poor behavior" "shame on both of them" when she referred to the Baldwin RANT!!

Baldwin's Rant still targeted by the media...............from  ABC NEWS

Actor Draws Fire for Critizing Daughter, But the Story May Not Be So Simple

Baldwin said he was "sorry for loosing my temper with my child" but claims he has "been driven the edge by parental alienation for many years now."

By the qualifier, both Baldwin & Basinger might be guilty.  In their contentious six-year custody battle for the daughter Ireland, the have publicly spoken "negatively" of each other, trading charges of physical abuse, mental instability and disregarding court orders.

May 4, 2007.......they appeared in front of the judge............and the VERDICT IS...............??

KIM BASINGER "VERY VERY HAPPY" with custody hearing

Hearing is over........Basinger's attorney Neal Hersh says, "Kim is very very happy with judge's decision and fully supports it."  Hersh would not elaborate.

Baldwin's attorney did not return TMZ's  call for comment on the hearing.

TALLAHASSEE DOORS CLOSE FOR SESSION ......FRI.....May 4, 2007 early........

HB 1169 & SB 2736  ........is a "DEAD" issue with FLORIDA LEGISLATORS....this session

Childs Cry for Help wants to extend our gratitude to our sponsors Rep. Gayle Harrell & Senator Dave Aronberg for their support for the CRIMAL CONDUCT BILL.  CCFH also wants to thank everyone who took the time to write these legislators and call showing the importance of this issue for our children........

Despite the urgency of this bill for "MENTAL INJURY" upon a child..........the legislators did not find this to be a MAJOR concern at this time..........

Currently ....Florida has a "MAJOR" loophole in the CHILD ABUSE STATUTE  concerning  "MENTAL INJURY" on a child...............

The 4 DCA invited the FL LEGISLATORS to cure this problem ......The FLORIDA SUPREME COURT denied clearing up the conflict.....so it was put in the hands of our VOTED elected officials...........who DID NOT SEE THE PRIORITY of this issue for Florida's 3.9 million children.
