Re: Child And Domestic Violence Support Group

    INTERESTING:

For the past twenty years Family Courts have purposefully managed to keep parents, usually mothers, from protecting their abused children.  There are thousands of cases where Family Court Judges order children to be ripped away from the Protective Parent and placed directly into the hands of their abusers.  JUDICIAL ABUSE HAS BECOME THE NEWEST FACE OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND  ONE OF AMERICA'S DARKEST SECRETS.

Re: Child And Domestic Violence Support Group

Domestic Violence is unfair, unjust, scars, and kills destroying the unity that two people may have once shared.  Unfortunately, on a daily basis throughout the US judges are allowing the victims to be revictimized and exploiting children.  Judge Palumbo, of Maryland denied Yvette Cade's injunction(protective order) and not even one month later Yvette was set on fire by her husband.  Yvette has suffered beyond belief but is now telling her story.....that is the only way we can make a difference and create awareness and change what is happening all around us in these courts.  God Bless you Yvette.  You are remarkable!

    Re: APPEAL

    Hi Jodi,

I just read the information concerning the Appellate Court and that Edward Munao has a criminal appeal.  Does this mean he is appealing his conviction?  It also says that the court is open to the public.  Can you tell me where to go, so that I may be present and offer my support?  I am outraged that this could happen!!!

I am here to support you, Jodi.

I wish you good luck and many prayers are with you~

    Re: APPEAL

    Jodi,

I can't believe that  Edward Muano granted an appeal. On  what grounds has this appeal been granted?    This is an outrage and just goes to show how backward the Florida legal system is when it comes to violating the rights of  children.  How, I ask, does one still have any rights regarding his children when he was convicted of CHILD ABUSE.  This is an autrocity on so many levels.  I'm sure that there is some minute detail that is in question and once again, the state is being asked to turn a blind eye to the crimes that have been committed.  Jodi, if I were you, now is the time to contact all media outlets, TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, you name it.  Let everyone be present on the day of the appeal.  I hope you draw so much attention that day that people will finally take notice.  Maybe even one our state's fine politicians can break away from overseeing legislation that has some economic value and find the time to focus on an issue that involves something more important, domestic violence and its impact on innocent children.  Please provide all of the details that you can.  I'm sure that I'm not the only one who wants to help in any way possible.  And, yes, I will be there also that day.......................be strong and God bless

    Re: APPEAL

FLORIDA HAS THE SECOND HIGHEST CHILD ABUSE IN THE NATION!

Florida is violating the rights of innocent children.....when a parent has a conviciton of CHILD ABUSE the STATE OF FLORIDA does not terminate their parental rights therefore given the parent the right to ABUSE over and over again!  No rehabilitation, no nothing but the rights to their kids......who they violated!  Gov. BUSH claims that it is DCF who handles these matters and passes a parent's concerns to DCF.  The Politicians in the State do need to help with the CHILD ABUSE LAWS, and DOMESTIC VIOLENCE......to protect innocent children from being victimized again."  WE NEED TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN SO THEY CAN SEE, HEAR & EXPERIENCE LIFE WITHOUT DOEMSTIC VIOLENCE."

    Re: APPEAL

THE FOURTH DISTRICT COURT OF APPEALS is located on 1525 PALM BEACH LAKES BLVD.....WPB.  The APPEAL will take place on TUESDAY, JULY 11th at 10AM.

Roy Black, ESQ.  will lead the legal oral argument for MUNAO arguing MUNAO"S CHILD ABUSE conviction and that his conviction was based solely on ORAL STATEMENTS, no PHYSICAL abuse were alleged or proven at trial.  Black will also argue  the way Port St. Lucie Police Department's Detective handled her interview with MUNAO and the taped phone call between the PSL Police Det. and Munao.  There will be more facts presented concerning the FLORIDA LAWS.  No matter what the outcome is on this appeal  the facts will remain.....aquitted or not......NO PARENT SHOULD EVER INSTRUCT THEIR CHILD TO KILL!!!

    Re: APPEAL

Childs Cry for Help wants to thank our supporters and other victims and children who have been contacting us.  We will keep you all informed of  the Appeal.  As many of you are asking what happened.......we have no answers yet as to what the Fourth District Court of Appeal mightl rule.  It may take any where from sixty days to several months until we hear the ruling of  the judges.  We are anxiously  awaiting as you all are to see what they will decide for Munao's Child Abuse conviction......if it is over turned that will mean that Munao will not be tried again for Child abuse.  As to the rest we will take it one day at a time ............................

    Jodi:

Thank you for sharing your story and creating this site. Your courage, compassion and dedication to change the current laws regarding emotional and mental abuse are to be applauded. I am sorry for your and your son's suffering.

I also want to say that although there are injustices by the court system, there are also some times when the court gets it right.

I am a survivor of domestic violence, nearly all of it psychological abuse. When I left my husband, I was granted a temporary restraining order, temporary custody and my husband was given no visitation. My new address was kept confidential. Later, in the divorce, I was granted an order of protection that never expires, and everything was upheld except that my son's father was granted supervised visitation. My case was handled in West Palm Beach, FL.

I have no idea why I was so fortunate, but I thank God every day that I got out--with my son and our mental health relatively intact. We are still healing, and I am doing what I can to help others. I will pray for you and your son and an outcome in the current court battle that will protect you both.

Re: Child And Domestic Violence Support Group

JUDGE OF 34 YEARS REMOVED FROM BENCH.......................

Mother who has two children went to judge pleading for a protective order.....Judge Fink told the mother she had 20 seconds to get out of the courtromm before she would "get arrested and go back to Mexico".   The mother who has been staying in shelters with her 3 and 5 year old children was claiming she needed a protective order due to EMOTIONAL AND VERBAL ABUSE & NEGLECT from her husband.  Judge Fink said that he did not believe that the husbands insults merited a restraining order.

Judge Fink said "IF THERE WAS EVIDENCE OF PHYSICAL ABUSE , a restraining order would have been issued" adding that would be a vicitm of abuse!!!!!

This is case is very important ........this shows the AMERICA court systems at work for victims of abuse...........and how EMOTIONAL ABUSE is not recognized......listen to the judges comments .......IF THERE WAS PHYSICAL ABUSE..............then..................she would have been given that  protective order......THIS UNJUSTICE  MUST CHANGE..................
